Gender Discrimination Class Action Suit Against Bayer Pharmaceuticals

A sex discrimination suit has been filed against Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals charging gender discrimination in pay, promotions, and treatment of mothers and pregnant women.  The plaintiffs -- women employed at an associate director level or higher -- claim that a male-dominated upper management has created and fostered an environment hostile to women.

The suit is similar to other class action lawsuits claiming sex or gender discrimination in employment reported by this blog: Cigna Health Insurance Sued for Sex Discrimination by Female Managers; Sex Discrimination Suit by Female Sales Reps Against Sanofi Settled for $15 Million; Sex Discrimination Suit by Female Sales Reps Against Novartis Settled for $152 Million.

Sex or gender discrimination in employment violates both federal and Kentucky state law.  If you have been subjected to sex or gender discrimination including glass ceiling discrimination, contact Lexington, Kentucky discrimination lawyer Robert Abell at 859-254-7076.
