Local Artist Killed In Hit & Run

Liz Pizzo, a local equine artist of some considerable talent and renown, was killed Saturday, May 16, 2009, in a hit and run accident at her Bourbon County home reports kentucky.com "Bourbon County Artist Killed."  The mirror on a passing truch struck her head, according to the report. Pizzo painted equine scenes on canvas, glasswork, tiles and ornaments.
