Trucking Companies Sued For Honeymooners' Deaths

Two trucking companies are the target of a trucking accident lawsuit arising from the deaths of a couple on their honeymoon reports the Las Vegas Sun.  J.B. Hunt Trucking of Arkansas and Stan Trucking of Clearwater, Florida were sued for negligence in the hiring, training and supervision of their drivers. The couple, which was on the wedding honeymoon, had stopped to repair a flat tire on the right side of the interstate highway. One truck struck both and, a short time later, the next truck ran over them. Neither truck stopped and both drivers later claimed that they had not known they had hit anyone.
