Vanguard Financial Group Sued For Race Discrimination

After failing to hire a well-qualified black female and then hiring a lesser-qualified white male for a financial planner position, the Vanguard Financial Group has been sued for race discrimination.  Barbara Alexander had an MBA and 14 years experience in financial planning when she applied for a financial planner position with Vanguard. She was not hired, told that she was not qualified and then Vanguard hired a white male applicant with less experience, according to the lawsuit filed by the EEOC.
