Wage Class Actions Against Wal-Mart Settled

A federal judge has given preliminary approval of the settlement of wage class action lawsuits against Wal-Mart reports bloomberg.com, "Wal-Mart Wins Initial Approval For Wage Settlements."  The settlement will involve about $85 million and cover 30 different class action lawsuits; it is part of a wider settlement of wage and hour class action lawsuits settled by Wal-Mart for some $640 million.
