Whistleblower Suits Settled Against Military Contractors

Military contractors, Dyncorp and the Sandi Group, have agreed to settle whistleblower lawsuits arising from false bills they submitted to the federal government regarding work and services supposedly performed in Iraq.  Dyncorp will pay $7.7 million arising from false claims it submitted regarding construction work. The Sandi Group will pay $1.1 million regarding false bills it submitted regarding police training work.  The whistleblowers, Drew Halldorson and Brian Evancho, will received approximately $481,000 of the settlements.
