Hostile Work Environment -- $65,000 Settlement

A female officer, Rebecca Leach, employed by the Bureau of Prisons in Lexington, Kentucky filed suit in federal court in Lexington claiming a hostile work environment and retaliation for her complaints and reports regarding same.  Her damages included lost pay and emotional distress. The case was settled by the United States Department of Justice for $65,000.
