A: 7. Under Kentucky workers compensation law an injured employee has to miss at least seven (7) work days because of a work injury to be able to receive temporary total disability (TTD) benefits. If the injured worker misses fourteen (14) days of work, he or she becomes eligible to received TTD benefits covering the first seven days that were missed.
