The California slaughterhouse, Central Valley Meat Company, that supplies meat to the nation's school lunch program is being investigated by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).  A secretly-taped video of abusive practices led the FDA to investigate whether the slaughterhouse has slaughtered cows unable to walk or otherwise sick, which would be a violation of food safety rules.  Bloomberg News reports No Lame Cattle Found In Food Supply From California Plant.
