Glass ceiling sex discrimination is at the heart of a sex discrimination and retaliation suit filed by a female junior partner of a Silicon Valley venture capital firm reports the New York Times, Lawsuit Shakes Foundation of A Man's World of Tech. Ellen Pao claims that the firm Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers discriminated against her and other women “by failing to promote them comparably to men, by compensating them less than men through lower salary, bonus and carried interest, by restricting the number of investments that women are allowed to make as compared to men.”
