A terrible wreck that a jury found was caused by a police officer's negligence in driving his patrol car and killed a man has resulted in a $2 million wrongful death verdict for the man's widow. Willie Allen Sargent Jr. of Snellville, Georgia was killed when a county police officer hit his car; the police car was traveling about 80 miles an hour with no siren or safety lights on.
