A suit arising from inadequate negligent traffic control that led to severe and disabling injuries for a bicyclist has been settled for $3.5 million. Gary Steube was riding in the El Tour de Tucson when he, along with four other bicyclists, was struck by core that had turned down what was supposed to have been a restricted route. The suit alleged that a deputy sheriff had removed traffic cones shortly before the accident.
