A news anchor, who has held the position for over 20 years, been promoted as the "Anchor Mom" and held the top ratings position in her market, has filed a discrimination suit following the nonrenewal of her contract.  Sue Manteris, the star and highest-rated news anchor of KSLV-TV in Las Vegas, filed suit following the nonrenewal of her contract alleging claims of age, race and sex discrimination.  The suit claims that the news station has followed a pattern of discrimination following the arrival of a new station manager.
