Power Plant Explosion Results in $16 Million Settlement
The 2009 explosion of Wisconsin power plant that badly burned and injured people has resulted in a $16 million settlement. The explosion occurred at a coal-fired power plant in suburban Milwaukee. The cause of the explosion was negligence: coal dust was not properly removed from a power plant silo before workers when to do construction work.
