Homeowners in Dimock Township, Pennsylvania have reached a settlement with a gas driller, Cabot Oil & Gas, on their claims that the gas driller poisoned their well water with various chemicals. Cabot Oil & Gas is engaged in widespread hydraulic fracking in northeastern Pennsylvania and surrrounding areas. The homeowners claimed that Cabot tainted their wells with methane and other chemicals, which made them violently ill.
