The Sacramento Kings and their player, Francisco Garcia, have settled a product liability suit claiming that Garcia was injured when an exercise ball he was using exploded. Garcia was injured in October 2009 when an exercise ball he was laying on while lifting weights burst. The exercise ball is sold by Perform Better and marketed as the Gymnic "Burst Resistant" Stability Plus Ball. Terms of the settlement were confidential.
