Defective Chinese drywall became the subject of intense Congressional scrutiny last week as two Senate committees held hearings on the topic reports Florida's Herald-Tribune, "The Week That Saw Drywall Snowball."  Under consideration are possible new laws to make it easier to sue foreign manufacturers of defective products and a nationwide recall of defective Chinese drywall.
