The Paycheck Fairness Act, which aims to remedy pay discrimination, is again headed for a vote in the U.S. Senate reports Politico, "Dems Push Paycheck Fairness Bill."Studies show that women make only 77 cents for each $1 earned by a male counterpart and the law aims to remedy this disparity. In 2009, the law passed the House but did not get the 60 vote super-majority that Republicans require in the Senate to pass any law they consider significant.
