Bicyclist Awarded $2.9 Million for Neck Injuries

A bicyclist has been awarded $2.9 million by a Hartford, Connecticut jury in compensation for her injuries caused by a defective bike path.  Maribeth Blonski was injured when she struck a gate that had been negligently placed on a bike path and sustained four broken neck vertebrae.
