Defective Guardrail Suit Settled for $15 Million

A lawsuit arising from injuries caused by a defective highway guardrail has been settled for $15 million.  A Pennsylvania man, Nicholas Anderson, was forced off the side of the road by an oncoming car and struck the highway's guardrail.  The guardrail, instead of absorbing the crash, snapped and caused very serious injuries to Anderson, who requires constant medical treatment.
