A former employee of a defense contractor, Northside Machine Co. in Indianapolis, has filed a federal whistleblower suit claiming that he was fired for complaining about defective machine gun parts that he was ordered to approve. Andrew Pool claims that he was ordered to approve defective parts for machine guns to be supplied to U.S. troops, complained about and, as a result, was fired.
His lawsuit seeks reinstatement, lost wages and benefits and other damages.
