The family of Bennie Abram, a football player at Ole Miss who collapsed during a team workout and later died, have settled their wrongful death lawsuit against the school for $325,000.  A sickle cell trait complication which alters red blood cells following strenuous exercise contributed to the young man's death.  As part of the settlement, Abrams' mother and two brothers will have their tuition for undergraduate and graduate schools covered.
