Hospital Whistleblower Claims She Was Fired For Reporting Unsanitary Conditions

A whistleblower lawsuit filed by a hospital surgery tech claims she was fired because she reported unsafe and unsanitary conditions at the hospital.  The whistleblower, Susan Gipson, alleges the hospital ignored bugs in operating-room light fixtures, holes in operating room walls, rusty surgical instruments, mold and dirt on air vents, and blood and biological fluids "strewn around the (operating rooms)."  The lawsuit claims that Gipson was fired after she reported these conditions and others to hospital authorities.
