When employees work through their meal breaks or off the clock they should be paid their wages and/or overtime. Hospital workers in Boston have settled an unpaid overtime and meal break wages suit for $8.5 million. The suit claimed that the workers were required to work during what was supposed to be their meal breaks and were required to work off th clock.
