Employees at several popular Lexington, Kentucky restaurants will be paid back wages owed them. The total back wages that will be paid is over $114,000 to some 143 employees. The wage payments stem from two types of violations to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act: (1) failure to pay overtime; and, (2) requiring employees to report to work before they were allowed to clock in. The restaurants involved were Sal's Chophouse, Malone's, and Palomar.
