Paralyzed Motorcyclist Awarded $44.9 Million By Jury

A motorcyclist paralyzed when hit by a negligently operated car was awarded $44.9 million by a Lee County, Florida jury late last week.  Gerald Aloia was hit by a car when riding his motorcycle in October 2006 and, as a result, was paralyzed.
