Police Sue for Unpaid Overtime

Police officers in Chattanooga have filed suit under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act for payment of overtime compensation they have earned.  The suit claims that the police officers were not paid overtime and were not granted comp time for the hours they worked greater than 40 in a workweek.
