Police Whistleblower Files Suit Over Reassignment - Whistleblower Lawyer
A police whistleblower who reported mishandling of evidence and other illegal activity in a strike force unit has filed a whistleblower suit claiming that he was retaliatated against. Sgt. Kelly O'Rourke, a decorated police officer, claims that he was retaliated against a few weeks after reporting to supervisors mishandling of evidence and other failures to follow proper procedures in his strike force unit. The FBI has an ongoing investigation of some of the strike force members.Robert L. Abell, a lawyer in Lexington, Kentucky, represents whistleblowers.
