Safety Violations Provoke $107,500 In OSHA Fines -- Kentucky Work Injury Lawyer

Workplace safety violations have led to $107,500 in proposed OSHA fines for a Delaware refinery.  OSHA cited a number of repeat violations: failure to conduct and document safety inspections, failure to conduct and document safety tests on equipment, failure to conduct a hazard analysis, and failure to maintain safety information for employees.  In addition to the repeat violations, OSHA also issued citations for failure to address the findings of a hazard analysis, failure to complete thorough incident reports and failure to use a proper procedure to change and publish safety guidelines.
