Sex Discrimination As To Pay and Promotions At Issue In Latest Suit Against Walmart

Unequal pay and lesser opportunities for promotion are the subject of the latest sex discrimination suit filed against Walmart, this one in U.S. District Court in Texas.  The case, which seeks class action status for about 45,000 women, claims that women were paid less than men for comparable work and received lesser opportunities for promotion.
