State Workers Awarded $42 Million In Back Pay - Kentucky Wages Lawyer

State workers in Indiana have been awarded $42 million in back pay in a class action lawsuit. The individual employees claimed that they were underpaid because they worked 40 hour weeks from 1973 to 1993 while other state employees in similar jobs were paid the same but worked only 37.5 hours per week. An estimated 15,000 state employees are owed some back pay.

Robert L. Abell, a Lexington, Kentucky lawyer, represents employees and workers in claims for wages and overtime pay and compensation.
