Supervisor Seeks Unpaid Overtime from BP Oil Spill

A supervisor in the cleanup of the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has filed suit under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act seeking unpaid overtime compensation. The supervisor, Martin Schlesinger, claims that he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week and was not paid overtime. This is the second lawsuit seeking unpaid overtime by workers who worked on the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill cleanup; see Cleanup Workers Seek Unpaid Overtime Compensation.
