An unpaid overtime and wages class action lawsuit brought on behalf of forestry industry workers has resulted in a settlement of $2.75 million. The suit was brought on behalf of some 2200 migrant workers against Superior Forestry Service, Inc. and alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Migrant Workers Act. In addition to the wages and overtime, the company will be required to cover the attorney's fees and administrative exec expenses of the workers' lawyers in total of about $722,000.
