Whistleblower Claims Lockheed-Martin Used Defective Coating on F-22

A former engineer claims in a federal whistleblower suit unsealed recently and pending in Atlanta that Lockheed-Martin used defective coatings on the F-22, a stealth jet.  The whistleblower, Darrol Olson, claims that Lockheed-Martin falsely certified that the jet had passed stealth tests.  The suit seeks to recover some $50 million for each of the 183 F-22s that were built.  The F-22 was discontinued earlier this year.
