Workers Compensation Insurance Fraud Case Settled for $20 Million

A staffing company that provides temporary workers has settled a workers compensation insurance fraud case for $20 million.  The staffing agency, Staffing Services, Inc., was charged by the California Insurance Commissioner with underreporting the number of employees and misrepresenting their job duties so they would have to pay lower workers compensation insurance premiums.
