Working Off the Clock Backpay Suit Settled for $7 Million - Kentucky Overtime Lawyer

A class action lawsuit by guards, who claimed that they were regularly forced to work off the clock against the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) has been settled for $7 million in back pay and attorney's fees. 

Both federal and Kentucky state law require that an employee be paid to time that their employer makes them work, even if the employee is made to work off the clock.
