Asbestos Exposure of Workers Leads to $1.2 Million Fine

An Illinois company, AMD Industries, has been fined $1.2 million by the Occupational Safety and Health Admininstration (OSHA) for exposing its workers to asbestos. The employees were not trained in asbestos exposure and were not provided any protective clothing or equipment.
