Coal Miner Killed at Western Kentucky Mine

A coal miner was killed Wednesday, October 27, when struck by a shuttle car at a coal mine in Union County, Kentucky. James Jeffrey Falk of Slaughters was the sixth coal miner killed in a mining accident in Kentucky this year. The mine is operated by Alliance Resource Partners of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
