Drugmakers Payments to Doctors Reviewed by Hospitals

Payments by drugmakers to doctors and the ethical issues that arise from those payments are being reviewed by Denver area hospitals.  Some doctors are paid $100,000 + as speaker fees by drug companies in which they tout their experiences with the company's drugs.  There is concern that such talks are more of a marketing ploy rather than education.
