Church ministers are not protected by federal anti-discrimination laws the Supreme Court has ruled unanimously in Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church v. EEOC. The ruling applies to ministers not all church employees, although the Court gave little guidance as to who is a "minister" and who is just a church employee.
