The Paycheck Fairness Act will promote fairness and require employers to justify wage disparities by skill and experience not gender. It will prohibit employers from retaliating against employees that discuss pay issues. It will also allow victims of unlawful wage discrimination to recover compensatory and punitive damages. A New York Times editorial urges its passage, "Paycheck Fairness."
