Workers hired to clean up the TVA coal ash disaster have filed suit claiming that they have been injured on account of exposure to toxic substances. The plaintiffs nearly all complain of respiratory problems and other health issues range from heart problems to sinus ailments to skin rashes. They also claim that the employer Jacobs Engineering misled them about the safety hazards of exposure to coal ash. The injured workers are represented by attorney James K. Scott of Knoxville.
