Information technology workers employed in the United States by the Indian conglomerate Tata Sons have had their suit for unpaid overtime and wages granted class action status. More than 10,000 workers may be included in the class. The case is pending in federal district court in Oakland, Vedachalam v. Tata America International Corporation et al.
