The only employee fired after a highly critical audit last year of the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) has filed a whistleblower lawsuit, claiming that he was fired in retaliation for his good-faith reports of waste, fraud and mismanagement. Mark Hill, a former administrative services manager for MSD and an African-American, also claims that race discrimination was a factor in his termination.
