UPS account managers that solicit business from other companies have filed a class action lawsuit for unpaid overtime compensation. The suit claims that the account managers usually work about 60 hours per week, that they are not paid overtime for those hours worked greater than 40, that they are not provided with mandatory meal and rest breaks and that UPS fails to maintain adequate time records for them. The class action lawsuit seeks up to $100 million in unpaid overtime.
Kentucky law requires that employees be provided with meal and rest breaks.
