Vested vacation pay is part of earned wages under Kentucky law. An employee in Kentucky must be paid their earned wages within 14 days of their last day worked or their next regular pay period whichever is later. 

A class action lawsuit in California seeking unpaid overtime, wages and earned vacation pay has been settled for $86 million.  This is one of many class action wage and overtime suits that Wal-Mart has settled the last few years.
