A whistleblower fired after she raised concerns about her supervisor's drug use and his endangerment of a child won a $1.7 million verdict from a Philadelphia jury in her wrongful termination lawsuit.  Marla Pietrowski, a senior case manager for the Kintock Group, a company that provides transition services for persons recently released from prison, was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for raising these concerns, the jury found. The verdict included the entirety of Pietrowski's lost back pay, $77,988.75, $100,000 for pain and suffering and $1.5 million in punitive damages.
