Whistleblowers under the False Claims Act can recover 15-25% of the money recovered from a corporation that has defrauded or cheated the government.

A whistleblower, Paul Frascella, has filed suit under the False Claims Act against Oracle, the software company, claiming that the company defrauded the government by failing to grant it the same discounts as offered to private company customers.  Frascella filed his suit in 2007 and was joined by the Department of Justice recently.
