Three women have won a $3.2 million verdict in a sexual harassment suit against a former Texas judge.  The former judge, James Blackstock, of Brazoria County, Texas had been the subject of sexual harassment reports going back to 1993.  One of the women, Mikki Kalina, a juvenile probation officer, testified that Judge Blackstock, sexually fondled, groped and propositioned her for over a year before she overcame her fear of the judge and his position. When she came forward, many other women did likewise. Kalina and the other two women in the suit, were each awarded $1 million in punitive damages.
