A patient is owed by his or her doctor the right to decide what medical treatment, if any, to receive based on informed consent. But some don't see it that way including the Wisconsin Medical Association which has successfully lobbied for introduction of a bill that would reduce a doctor's obligation to discuss alternative treatments and/or diagnoses with patients as The PopTort reports, Health Care: Look Who's Not Talking.
